This week, we’re chattin’ on the front porch with Bridget and Casey from The DIY Playbook! These Chicago-based bloggers dish on everything from their biggest DIY fail to the strangest decoration hanging around the house. Be sure to head over to their blog to hear more about these best friend bloggers!

A new camera lens, we’re always excited to step up our photography game!

What are you exceptionally good at? (Permission to brag)
We are exceptionally good at conquering a good to-do list. We are both to-do list addicts, and we take serious pride in our ability to work hard to accomplish every last item on our to-do lists… well, at least until the next one starts!

Funniest comment you’ve received on your blog?
Long story short, we tried our hands at a fashion post recently and in the process of prepping for the post, we realized that Bridget wore her dress backwards in the photos (and to an event!). We were at first a tad horrified but decided to share this fashion mishap anyway. After our post, some of our readers shared their own hilarious wardrobe malfunctions, which made the whole experience actually pretty fun on the blog!

If your life were a song, what would it be?
“Happy” by Pharrell <– because we’re haaapppyyyyy

What’s a home trend you hope doesn’t exist in 100 years?
In general, we hope 100 years from now people are not just jumping on any “trendy” bandwagon that doesn’t work well with their lifestyle, families and homes. Of course we’re sometimes guilty of this too, but we hope that people make choices that align with their needs & home decor style rather than just what’s “trendy” right now.

Favorite words to live by?
Work Hard. Be Kind. Stay Humble
